Since the last update, we have not had much to report. JC has had a couple of appointments over the past couple of weeks.
With her most recent transfusion unfortunately, her iron numbers did increase. Thankfully, they have started to go back down. They are continuing to monitor her numbers and continuing the chelation therapy.
JC’s spirits are improving, and we have been able to enjoy some precious family moments. This time of year is filled with joy, and it has been such an immense pleasure to have the moments together as a family.
Your continued prayers mean so much to us, and I know it is God who is carrying us through this difficult time. Each of you who have reached out, prayed, and given us such kindness in so many ways have been a blessing and comfort to us. Your generosity can never be repaid, but please know it is so appreciated.

Christmas is a season of hope, and it is such a warmth to my heart. It is the story of the ages, and it still brings hope to the world. Jesus, the Son, became man to save the entire world, and because of his birth, death, and resurrection we have the greatest hope of all – the gift of eternal paradise with God.
It reminds me to be grateful for all things and in all things. God is our hope, and He has made a way for all of us. May you feel his peace, joy, hope, and presence this Christmas season.
